The X1200 is a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing model aircraft designed by Skyward Studio specifically for entry-level FPV enthusiasts who are just getting into VTOL flying, and is manufactured by XFLY-MODEL. Built with durable and wear-resistant EPP foam reinforced with composite materials and engineering plastics, the airframe achieves an excellent balance of lightweight construction and structural integrity, with a premium fit and finish throughout.
The aircraft features a modular, glue-free quick-assembly design that allows for full deployment in under two minutes. It utilises the most proven 4+1 VTOL configuration, with four rotor power systems delivering ample thrust during vertical takeoff and landing phases. The forward rotor arms are designed to fold, which makes the aircraft much more compact for storage and easier to transport. The fixed-wing propulsion adopts a pusher layout for superior cruise efficiency. Both the main wing and tail assembly are equipped with newly designed locking mechanisms that ensure a secure fit while enabling rapid attachment and detachment. The spacious battery bay accommodates a variety of 6S battery packs to suit different endurance requirements, and the battery hatch comes with designated mounting points for video transmitter and camera units, making it compatible with mainstream systems.

Update 01/01/26: The laws have changed regarding operating drones and model aircraft in the UK.
What you need to do:
You must take a theory test and register with the CAA before flying most drones or model aircraft outdoors in the UK.
There are two requirements and you may need to meet both:
This makes sure you know how to fly safely and legally.
This registers you as someone who is responsible for a drone or model aircraft.
Most people get their Flyer ID and Operator ID at the same time.
It is against the law to fly a drone or model aircraft without having the required IDs.
You can also be fined for breaking the law when flying. In the most serious cases, you could be sent to prison.
The requirements are based on the weight or class of your drone or model aircraft.
