The UDI RC Bharal Pro UCX1804PRO takes the compact 1:18 crawler platform to another level, combining brushless power, selectable high/low transmission, four-wheel steering and a metal-geared drivetrain in a highly capable go-anywhere package.
At just 223mm long, the Bharal Pro packs an impressive amount of engineering beneath its aggressive, low mounted pickup-style body. An 1808 brushless motor and integrated brushless ESC provide the power, while the mechanically selectable high and low speed gearbox lets you switch between controlled crawling and a faster driving ratio to suit the terrain.
The UDI RC Bharal Pro UCX1804PRO brings together the features normally associated with much larger specialist crawlers in a remarkably compact package. Brushless power, four-wheel steering, selectable gearing and a metal-equipped drivetrain make this one seriously interesting little trail machine.
Four-Wheel Steering.
One of the Bharal Pro’s standout features is its 4WS four-wheel steering system.
With steering available at both ends, the UCX1804PRO offers exceptional manoeuvrability when tackling tight sections and technical terrain. The supplied 2.4GHz transmitter provides front and rear steering trim along with steering mode control, allowing the driver to make the most of the sophisticated steering system.
Brushless Power.
At the heart of the Bharal Pro is an 1808 brushless motor, matched to an integrated brushless ESC and powered by a 2S 7.4V LiPo battery.
Compact brushless power combines with the selectable transmission to give the Bharal Pro the versatility required for both technical crawling and more open terrain.
High & Low Speed Mechanical Transmission.
The UCX1804PRO features a mechanically selectable gearbox with:
Low gear provides a final reduction ratio of 117.1:1 for controlled crawling, while high gear switches to 18.7:1.
The transmission uses metal gears, providing a suitably robust drivetrain for this high-specification crawler.
Serious Crawler Chassis.
Underneath the body sits a symmetrical crawler chassis featuring an aluminium alloy frame, metal suspension links and hydraulic shock absorbers.
With 44mm of ground clearance and large 66mm diameter tyres, the Bharal Pro has the stance and clearance required for tackling rocks, trails and uneven terrain.
The front and rear body overhangs are kept to a minimum, providing impressive 90-degree approach and departure angles.
