Take to the skies with the MO-FLY Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate. Recreating the distinctive outline of the Japanese WWII fighter, this compact 690mm warbird combines durable EPP foam construction with modern flight assistance, offering developing pilots a helping hand and experienced flyers the opportunity to explore its aerobatic capabilities.
A 2204 2300KV brushless motor and 16A speed controller provide responsive power, while the included 7.4V 1300mAh LiPo battery delivers flight times of up to approximately 25 minutes, depending on conditions and flying style.
The integrated flight controller offers three selectable modes. 6G mode provides automatic balancing assistance to help pilots build confidence, Manual mode gives direct control and 3D mode supports more adventurous aerobatic flying. One-touch stunt functions add to the entertainment, with rolls, loops and inverted-flight manoeuvres available through the transmitter.
The supplied 2.4GHz 10-channel radio features two-way communication and a low-voltage warning to help you monitor the aircraft battery during flight. The control board also supports SBUS and DSM expansion for added flexibility.
The Hayate’s modular design uses detachable components to simplify transport, storage and maintenance. Resilient EPP foam helps it withstand minor knocks, while its painted finish brings the aircraft’s recognisable warbird character to life
Supplied as an RTF package with transmitter, flight battery, charging cable and accessories, the MO-FLY Ki-84 Hayate offers a distinctive addition to your flying fleet.
Optional HD Camera Upgrade: Add a new perspective to your flights with the optional HD camera and transmitter phone mount. Stream live footage to your compatible smartphone via Wi-Fi, with the mount keeping the screen conveniently positioned above the transmitter.
HD camera and phone mount sold separately. Smartphone not included.
Update 01/01/26: The laws have changed regarding operating drones and model aircraft in the UK.
What you need to do:
You must take a theory test and register with the CAA before flying most drones or model aircraft outdoors in the UK.
There are two requirements and you may need to meet both:
This makes sure you know how to fly safely and legally.
This registers you as someone who is responsible for a drone or model aircraft.
Most people get their Flyer ID and Operator ID at the same time.
It is against the law to fly a drone or model aircraft without having the required IDs.
You can also be fined for breaking the law when flying. In the most serious cases, you could be sent to prison.
The requirements are based on the weight or class of your drone or model aircraft.
