Dudley RCC Winter Series 2016/17 Round 6
The last round of the successful Dudley Winter Series was held on Sunday 5th March 2017.
It would be another full day of racing with a mixture of 8 classes being run, due to the expected bad weather Kidderminster had cancelled their meeting so a few extra drivers were slotted into an already busy day, but was no problem as the Dudley crew always run a well organised meeting.
The Track was looking fast with quite a few jumps, raised section and the wall of death, a lot of time has been spent making new jumps for the winter series and this really shows. To accommodate the Touring cars and GT12 drivers a few alterations had to be made but this was just moving a few jumps and didn’t impact the smooth running too much.
The CML team have been supporting the series running across a few of the classes, with Keith Robertson and Jon Howells taking the overall series wins in the Vintage and Micro classes and Jon Griffiths taking the runners up spot behind Jon.

Dudley RCC Winter Series 2017/18.........
Everyone will be looking forward to the next series as it is always fun and well run, and with rumours of a proper old school meeting on grass at Himley Hall this year its going to be another good year for 1/10th Off Road!
