Another great showing for Liam Brooks with his Yokomo BD7-2014
Eastbourne hosted the latest round of the BRCA Clubman series and with the weather on our side the sunshine made a great day's racing.
CML/FTD Models driver Liam Brooks was up against the best the BRCA Clubmans series had to offer with the Eastbourne club being our hosts for latest round, and to cap off a fine days racing the weather played ball too, giving lovely sunny conditions. After qualifying Liam lined up 3rd on the grid and finished 3rd overall in the finals with his Yokomo BD7-2014 car after some very close racing with second placed driver (and former World Champion) David Spashett and eventual winner Tim Hancock. Fellow CML/FTD Models driver Luke Burr, also driving Yokomo for CML/FTD, made 7th in the A final.
With 3 rounds now gone Liam now has a commanding lead in this years championship, Dale Burr another FTD models driver is second with Luke a close third with his Yokomo.
Very well done to all and it was great to see the Eastbourne Lady Mayoress in attendance to hand out the trophies.
