It's a well built strong car which goes very well,,unfortunately my rear drive shaft kept falling out which I found to be a damaged cup drive on the gearbox, parts are readily available and a replacement was ordered for a very reasonable £4,,,this is a very good product at a very reasonable price,,i highly recommend it, ,
Not pleased at all with this car, I have owend it for a month the front drive shafts have been replaced 4 times literally 1 after the other, the steering servo died and had to be replaced now the motor has died too... Total playing time from the day i recieved it has been around 20 minutes, don't no if all are the same but I no mine is scrap feel scared to drive it wondering what will be next, my advice spend a little more money for something better built
Bought the brushed version and was easily made brushless. Bit of a workout to remove the rollcage shell to easily get in to work on the chassis, but it's strong because of it. Can be tuned to your liking and responds well to 3S lipo! Personally, I love it.. It's taken a right beating on the track and general bashing around (bear in mind I'm not one of these RC owners who like to BANZAI their RC's high into the air jumping - anything will break as a result of that!) The only damage it's suffered is the top light pod display (a small plastic strut snapped from a role), and that's it.... The stock servo still works and is strong when stationary too. Stock RX and Tx still working as they should aswell. My only grumble is that I can't find any aluminium hopup parts for it, do FTX make them? They make them for other FTX models so why not this one (and the sidewinder)? Hence, 4 stars... Otherwise - it's ace!
