Mr

I have looking for. Tiger Moth for ages, up pops this offering from Dynam... Orderd via my local model shop, duly arrived, lovely and well boxed, eagerly oppend and the contence confirmed my choose, a very impressive array of yellow foam prices. I have to say some at the club told me the foam used is awful, these are same group who could not believe the quality of my latest kit to be brought to the field!!!! And two more were orderd for their 'hangers' . The build.... Pretty straight forward really, awful instructions a bit of a let down, but the pictures tell a story, and easy to follow. The nose cone on mine was excessively dented, and the cut line where it meets the fuselage was frankly a wavy line. And when fitting the rigging (a fabulous addition made is steel wire!) I realised one complete side was missing... BUT the after care via the importer was excellent new parts in hand, al la, kit finished. I did buy two pilot figures and added these for a more scale appearance, and boy, do they look good. Oh yes and a peice of fabric attached to one of the outboard wing struts which flaps in the slipstream, awesome! Due to the true scale of the Tiget, I did adorn mine by painting in wood effect all of the wing struts, painted the cowel in Matt silver also the fuel tank which adds more detail to this beauty, Ready For Flight Well the decals applied, 4 cell Lipos charged, C of G established first Cabane from the front cockpit, I added some weight, then more!!! It does require quite a bit of ballast. Rx all set up, a breeze, the Lipo in the recess in the nose, a great feature, and firmly held in place the magnetic cockpit section, now this element was very impressive and worked superbly. Ok at the field, in fact it was an evening clear sky's little wind, the perfect conditions for a maiden flight. Longish grass the farmer had not given the field a cut for two weeks, but OK, throttle forward, wow took off and when near virticle like a ballistic missile! Stick forward, regain my posture, not to lower my heart beat! Landed added some more nose weight, and it took off as it should. Smoothly into the air, tail up super quick, so good rudder authority, and gracefully doing some scale maouvers, my timer when if after 5 mins, time, excuse the pun, but flew over, landed to comments from colleagues lovely scale flying, the truth be told, the Tigger almost flew its self!!! Conclusion.. I simply love it, and it seem every one who sees it up close shares my enthusiasm. This is an excellent offering from Dynam, and a must have!!! When budgets allow I will be buying another' Dynam aircraft.., Onwards and upwards!
