Holdsworth Strikes Again

Holdsworth Strikes Again

Luke Holdsworth followed up his recent NW Regional success by retaining both his National Junior titles at the BRCA championship finals meeting at Boughton Raceway 30/31st August.

On the Saturday Luke drove his B5M to win in fine style, using Reedy motor and batteries, and Centro Brass bulkhead.

On Sunday driving a Reedy powered B44.2 Luke stormed to early TQ with his first two qualifying heats, and took the championship win in the finals. This capped a fine season again for Luke, driving with CML/Team Associated.

Luke now moves to the Under 16 age group, but the Holdsworths will continue to compete in the Under 13 class because younger brother Josh is coming up fast on the rails, and figured in the “A” finals on both days at Boughton. Like his big brother (and idol) Luke, Josh drives Team Associated cars both 2wd and 4wd, and he looks like a great future prospect.
