Euros Podium for Associated

Despite not running a 1:12 scale for nearly a year Olly was pretty pleased with his recent EFRA Euros venture. Montbrison was the venue for this seasons 1:12 Euros and Olly was part of large UK team that made its way to the French town for this seasons annual 1:12 bash. Associated sent Olly some new development parts for the Team Associated 12R5.1, a new chassis that allows the lipo battery to lie front to back rather than the tradition side to side configuration and the combination was working well and Olly was on the pace right from the off. After qualifying third Olly was pleased with his runs but felt there was still a little more to come. Before the finals Olly made some small set up changes and the Jaco shod Associated R5 was quicker for the finals, but the track layout was tricky and overtaking would be difficult. After three finals Olly finished an excellent third overall but more importantly showed the potential of Associated?s new development parts. Back to touring cars this weekend with the final round of the Kick Energy Drink Ardent series. Olly has already won the modified class of this series but wants to try and finish the winter season on a high with hopefully another win.
