AE Dominates PDA Winter Series

After 5 rounds of well contested racing in both 2wd & 4wd the honours went to AE/CML team drivers Tony Truman and Rob Rasey. The 2wd class came down to a straight battle between Tony Truman (B4) and Alec Springer (CR2) as both drivers were on equal points going into the last round. Qualifying was dominated by Truman who took the TQ with Springer not too far behind securing 2nd and Keith Robertson (B4) was 3rd leading into the 3 legged main. Truman won the first two legs with some very consistent driving and in doing so taking the title. 4wd qualifying was a close affair with Simon Turner (B44) setting the pace and taking TQ. Championship leader Rob Rasey (B44) was 2nd on the grid with his nearest rival Jon Dell (DB01R) in 3rd. Simon was near faultless in the first 2 legs taking the overall win with Rasey finishing second having won the last leg and with it the championship.
