Debut win for RB WS7 L2G and Byron GEN2

Elliott's RC8 was for the first time powered by the new RB WS7 L2G engine and also with the new GEN2 Byron 30% fuel. Elliott took TQ with a time 3.5 seconds in front of the field. 2nd on the grid was Hobao driver Graham Alsop who also ran the new RB/Byron combination with his Hyper 8.5. The final saw a fantastic battle between Elliott and Graham which saw Elliott just come out on top, but there was nothing between the two drivers.
