Hyper ST tames the Panther

80 drivers braved the cold fresh morning starting with one round of practice, not timed. The track was frozen for practice then damp round 1 and dry by round 2 and blue grooved by start of the finals. The truggy was TQ'd by Jim Thompson with Russ Bialy and John Niall hot on his heels. It was John Niall who showed nerves of steel in the final to come in first with Jim Thompson a close second second. In the buggy class Elliot Boots and Jon Hazelwood battled for TQ with Elliot taking it with a time of 8 laps 39.9 split only three drivers did 8 laps. During the buggy main A there was a first lap incident that saw Elliot Boots and Jon Hazelwood drop to last Elliot famed out on lap 4 this left Darren Bloomfield clear and with 25 minute finals pit stop strategy was very important. Darren drove very well and no one to catch his lead. Jon Hazelwood drove up to second and had quite a few traffic battles. Winner John Niall with his Hyper ST / Elliot Boots with his RB powered RC8
