Boots Kicks Ass
Elliott Boots wins the final round of the Interclub series in style. If only he had his new RC8 from the start he may have won the series!
This past weekend saw the concluding meeting of the Interclub regional series between HNMC and Norfolk buggy club. So far the series had attracted a large number of national drivers and has proved extremely well supported once again.
Qualifying started in wet conditions but the excellent new HNMC track at Westmill farm held up very well and after three rounds the grid line up was-
1 Mick Craddock
2 Elliot Boots
3 Karl Jackson
4 Sam Taylor
5 Jamie Armstrong
The A final was a close fight for the first few minutes with each of the top four drivers taking a turn in the lead but it was new Associated driver Elliot Boots that hung on to take the win. Coming home second was Proline driver Sam Taylor who with this result retains the Interclub title for the second year.
