CML do not sell direct to the retail sector. Instead we prefer to direct customer interest to the model shops that we supply. We hope this benefits the UK RC model scene, introducing new customers to the hobby stores who support RC enthusiasts across the country.
The Shopatron Online Shopping Service is used across dozens of industries and is used by top name RC websites in the USA such as Pro-Line, Novak and RPM.
In 2008, CML Distribution joined partnership with Shopatron.The CML website gets thousands of hits every week with modellers wanting to buy items ranging from cars, boats, planes and accessories. Using Shopatron's bespoke software, customers can click on the items they want to purchase on the CML website and have them shipped directly from their local model hobby shop.
CML customers place their orders using the CML Shopatron portal.
Shopatron processes the order payment. You can pay using your credit card or via Paypal.
UK model shops who are part of the Shopatron scheme request which order they want to fulfill from their own stock.
The order is then awarded to the model shop which is geographically closest to the shopper.
The successful model shop then ships the order directly to the customer. Please Note: Using the Shopatron system can take up to 7 working days to complete your order. If you require your goods urgently please contact your local model shop direct.
