Team Associated's RC8B3 Dominates at Round 6 of the Swiss 1/8th Nationals

Last weekend would see the best Swiss drivers battle it out at round 6 of the Swiss national series and there could only be one winner!

Round 6 of the Swiss national championship took place in the beautiful city Morges VD.

Lots of spectators turned out to watch the best Swiss drivers battle it out during qualifying and the mains. The track offered a natural grass surface and this would change a lot during the qualifying. During the finals drivers would see even less traction with the track changing almost lap by lap!

HRC’s new driver and Patrick’s new team mate Ronny Lüber (3rd position overall) would qualify 4th on the grid with his new Team Associated RC8B3. Swiss leader Patrick Hofer would not have it all his own way in qualify and had to settle with putting his Associated RC8B3 in 6th position for the main.

In the main Patrick did not have the best of starts and a small error would see him in last place leaving himself a lot to do. Patrick pushed hard, played his joked card and showed an unbelievable fast race pace during the 45min final. His RC8B3 pace was untouchable and in one and half minutes of being at the back he pulled back the 8 seconds the error cost him and took a commanding lead.

Patrick won the race followed by Ronny in what could be one of their best drives.
