Wood & Savox TQ & Win BRCA Round 5

Wood & Savox TQ & Win BRCA Round 5

This weekend saw a number of sporting events all across the UK. As the Tour de France worked its way past the Halifax Track, the 1/8 Circuit BRCA Nationals were in full swing in the thankfully dry and glorious weather.

On-track the pace was hot, but from Saturday practice the Savox powered car of Tim Wood was showing promising pace.

Into Sunday and the main race day saw a great rivalry between Tim and Serpent team-mate Mark Green for the top-spot with both cars showing strong pace.  Tim just edged out Mark, and was fastest in 3 of the 4 rounds to secure the coveted TQ.  John Carr, Richard Hicklin and Jason Frost all using Savox servos backed Tim up, qualifying safely in the main final.

The A final saw a fast pace, but Tim's Savox car led from flag to flag - a great result after the disappointment of the previous Adur round.

The Savox TQ & Victory back up the win at the first 2014 national and two podiums at rounds 2 & 3.  Tim's Savox SB2271-SG servos continue to perform faultlessly at the top-end of the National Championship with their 'Bullet-Proof' all steel gear sets.

It is noted numerous people have switched to Savox recently, with Marlon Mclusky running well at Adur after investing in a pair of SB2271s following Tims strong results.

CML & Savox wish Tim, & all Savox 1/8 Circuit Racers Good Luck for Round 6 @ Cotswold after the summer break."
