Great start for Associated/Yokomo/CML at RHR Round 1 BRCA 1/10th National

Great start for Associated/Yokomo/CML at RHR At the first round of the BRCA 1/10th Off-Road National series hosted by Robin Hood Raceway, Team Associated and Team Yokomo dominated proceedings.

In 2wd class Neil Cragg took pole position with his Reedy powered Associated B5M with Lee Martin and his Yokomo YZ-2 in right alongside.  These two drivers then put on a classic driving display in the finals with Lee coming out on top after the three legs to take the overall win just ahead of Neil.

Yokomo’s new signing Tom Cockerill finished off the podium in third with Tom Yardy and Greg Williams also making the A-main with their B5M/Reedy cars.

In the 4wd class it was Neil Cragg who showed his class in qualifying to take the pole position with his Reedy powered Associated B44.3 with Lee right alongside again with his B-Max4 III.

Again these two put on some cracking finals and again it was Lee that came out on top after the three legs to take the win.  Once more Tom Cockerill made the podium in third with his B-Max4 III.  Tom Yardy had a tough qualifying but still proved he has what it takes to make the top ten as well with his B44.3/Reedy car.

Well done to the Robin Hood Raceway guys for a great meeting and for keeping the racers sheltered in the strong winds.  It was a great start to the season – and don’t forget we’ll be back at RHR for the Euros in August on the famous RHR Pro-line Dirt track.
