Team Associated Greg Williams Takes Round 3

Greg Williams steps-up and takes a fantastic 4WD Worksop victory.

Last weekend was the 3rd round of the highly competitive Schumacher indoor series at Worksop. A specialist venue many would agree and a hot favourite with a host of National front runners. The cork floor makes for a unusual and varying level of traction depending on the temp and layout according to the regulars and its always a difficult balance to get right. Understeer v's oversteer. Consistency v's outright pace....  This time it was young Greg Williams who proved triumphant with a solid and commanding final. Taking the victory from 2nd on the grid.

Greg was delighted with his pace and consistency and noticed a marked improvement with his 44.3. Commenting that the car was very easy to drive. Greg also used the new Reedy Black Box and was delighted with its performance and his results in both classes.

Greg was using: Team Associated B44.3, Reedy Black Box, Reedy Sonic 2 6.5 & Reedy Saddle Race Batteries.

Greg has been simmering in the back ground and finding his feet over the past year and we are all delighted with his results this past weekend. All the hard work and effort has paid off. Greg has been picking up his pace for the past few months no with  A finals in both 2 and 4WD at the CML Masters. A podium finish at the recent Silverstone Winter Series and Now a stunning Worksop victory.
