Jewitt wins with RC12R5.2 at Chesterfield Shootout
Mark Jewitt took his Reedy/Viper powered Team Associated RC12R5.2 car to the win in the highly competitive 10.5t 1/12th circuit class.
During the final meeting of the series Mark had a close battle with Aidan Ripley for the pole position, just losing out by a less than a second. In the final these two broke away at the front and after pressuring Aidan into an error Mark was able to cruise round and take his third win from the four events (backing that up with a second place at the other meeting). This confirmed Mark as the 10.5t Shootout Champion –well done!
In the 13.5t class there was another winner for Viper as Chesterfield Supremo Kevin Creaser took the title, using his Viper VTX-1 ESC to control his car.
