John Howells takes NX IV Round 1
CML and Associated driver John Howells was on form with his RC8.2 at the Nitro X Cross series.
Two weeks on from the Winter series Finale at Ledbury the Nitro X Cross crew travelled to Frankley Model Car Club for round 1 of their summer series. Qualifying would consist of 4 rounds with the driver’s fastest time of the day (FTD) deciding their grid positions. It was John Howells who lined up in P1 with Jon Griffiths in second and Ben Billing third, with just 3 seconds separating the top 3! After the 25 minute A final it was John Howells who took the win with Jon Griffiths in second and Alex Page in third.
