Neil Cragg and Associated do it again
09/08/12
Hot on the heels of his domination at the Proline RHR Dirt track for the oOple race, Neil Cragg took pole position and the win at the latest round of the 4wd BRCA national series.
The Silverstone club put in a tremendous effort to create a track to equal any other outdoor venue – but amazingly this was a temporary track in an indoor equestrian arena. The layout itself was a mostly astro-turf surface, with some paving slabs and turf thrown in for good measure. Although the track looked flat, it certainly wasn’t and would prove to be a test for both car and driver.

With the four rounds of qualifying complete, Neil put his Reedy powered Team Associated B44.1 on the pole position, and was joined in the A final by fellow Reedy/Associated team-mates Paul Bradby and Tom Yardy. After three highly competitive and enjoyable A final legs, Neil ran out the winner of the meeting following wins in legs one and three.

Neil is now the only driver that can deny Lee Martin the outright 4wd British title with the showdown to be held at the Kidderminster track in a few weeks time.
