Academy Driver Shines at GP

Recently confirmed CML / Associated Junior Academy driver Kyle Gardener shows real promise.

The new CML Associated Academy incentive was not really due to start showing results until next season, but since being confirmed as one of the four lucky drivers to get a place on the team Kyle Gardner has really shone. Racing his TC5 at the Team Powers Grand Prix Kyle set TQ and went on to win the A final in the 10.5 pro stock class. It was an excellent drive to come home ahead of more experienced drivers including fellow CML/Associated driver Tom Jefferies. Kyle?s result comes on the back of an excellent showing at the Chippenham model car clubs winter series the previous weekend where he finished second in the pro stock A final. Well done to Kyle who seems to be going from strength since becoming a regular part of the Associated on road team. This weekend he joins the other members of the team for the Schumacher Winter BTCC Open at Moto Arena. The team are confident of a good showing here after some excellent recent testing.
