CML Drivers Dominate Coventy Winter Series
CML drivers Alex Mortimer and John Howells took overall victory in both Truggy and Buggy classes at the Coventry Winter Series.
Alex took his RB powered Associated RC8T to victory in the championship with a series of strong wins. Alex commented that the RC8T was 'just fantastic, never missed a beat and was easily the fastest Truggy on the track' At the final round Alex even decided to run his SC8, Alex ran with the Truggies and despite the extra weight of the bodyshell high up and the narrow track suspension he still managed to put his car in the 'A' final.

In the Buggy class it was a close battle between the two CML drivers, with Both Alex and John taking victories. John was the eventual winner with his Reedy powered Hyper 9 buggy. John's performance level was boosted with the arrival of the new car, and this enabled him to take some good victories later in the series that gave him the overall win.
