CML Carpet Masters - Rnd 3

Stafford Club once again played host to the CML Carpet Masters and we again saw fierce competition at the front of the field.

After the 3 rounds of qualifying it was Team Associated factory driver Olly Jeffries who took the pole by a 1 second from CML/Yokomo driver Ian Wittingham. Ian was in turn 1 second in front of CML/Associated driver Andy Robson.

The first final saw Olly take and early lead with Andy briefly getting up to 2nd before a little error dropped him back to 5th. Olly maintained his lead with a comfortable drive to take the win by a couple of seconds from Adam Meakin with Andy having fought back to 3rd, right on the tail of Adam.





The second leg once again saw Olly take a comfortable victory, this time with team mate Andy Robson 2nd.

Olly now heads off to Denmark for the prestigious DHI Cup next weekend, we wish him the best for that event.
