Dynam Developments

CML have been working with Dynam for the last 6 years, this year however is proving to be a very exciting time for us.  With an exciting fabulous series of aerobatic and warbirds being released this year and more planned for the latter part of the season.  For those of you unfamiliar with this brand, I thought I would give you an over view of this manufacturer.

Dynam are first and foremost; modellers, this filters down through every element of their models resulting in close attention to detail for a user friendly construction and common sense design approach.  Simply put, it’s making truly exceptional models that leaves other manufactures standing still.

By cleverly reducing the total part count and using a continuous improvement design phase the Dynam team translate designs into an extremely competitively priced model, in fact they are almost unbelievable value for money!

Flight performance is second to none, this is finely honed in the design and prototype stages, resulting in stunning flight performance with impeccable flight characteristics.

Dynam never cut corners with component selection, so expect durability and reliability to go hand in hand, making every Dynam model a pleasure to own.

Finally, expect to see some brand new and exciting models created specifically for the UK market to be hitting the shops over the coming months.  Stay tuned to the hub for the latest on all things Dynam.

New Beechcraft Staggerwing from FMS

FMS Beechcraft Staggerwing
The design of the Beechcraft Model 17 set it apart from its competition when it first came into production in the late 1930’s. The Biplane is constructed mainly from timber and steel tube, it featured a top wing behind the lower wing and this enhanced pilot visibility and improved roll stability.

FMS have replicated the Staggerwing very accurately; the stable biplane platform offers a very scale like flight envelope and it will provide endless hours of entertainment without you ever breaking out into a sweat. The scale flaps make landing the Staggerwing a walk in the park and the steering tailwheel add to its great ground handling too.

Tech Spec:

  • Wingspan: 1030mm
  • Fuselage length: 850mm
  • Motor: Brushless 850 kv
  • ESC: 35 Amp
  • Ailerons, Flaps, Elevator, Rudder (steering tail wheel)
  • Servos: 6x9g
  • Battery required: 3S 1800mAh
  • Retracts: 2 x Worm-drive Electronic

Dynam launch new aerobatic trio

DynamOur latest addition to the flight brand of CML is a brand new range from “Dynam Models”. Our first release is a Trio of aerobatic thoroughbreds. The legendary Pitts Model 12, the championship winning Sukhoi 26 and the latest competition stomping Sbach 342.

Dynam has taken the full size aircraft and worked on improving modelling performance but  being mindful of also keeping the scale lines of each aircraft. These aircrafts have been designed, developed and manufactured in house at the Dynam factory with great emphasis made on flight performance, quality and affordability.  All models share a common power-train and require a 4S 2200mAh LiPo battery, these have become a very common size in this market sector but try to choose one with the higher than 25C discharge rating to get the most out of the airframe.

We are selling ARTF which just require a radio/receiver and battery to complete and a Clubman, which is also without servos allowing you to select some fast digital servos.
