The distinctive twin nacelles and central cockpit gave this WW2 warbird an unusual silhouette and deadly reputation. Lockheed made a radical departure from tradition which gave this aircraft almost twice the engine power of other fighters and enough firepower to literally sink a ship! FMS have scaled down this detailed model but thankfully not the fun. It's a feature rich working replica that is quick to assemble straight out of the box. It only requires a 3S LiPo battery and 6 channel radio to complete. The tricycle worm drive retract system offers stable ground handling and with a genuine scale outline once it's in the air. The flaps are actuated via "slow" servos and prove to be very effective, although the airframe is lightly loaded it's another rewarding scale touch. A twin brushless power train transfers seamless performance and the rigid construction (with key areas reinforced with composites) gives the RC pilot a breath taking ride and an audible treat too.
