Top Gun Park Flite J-3 Piper Cub 1.4m ARTF Yellow

The J3-Cub was first introduced in the 1930's as an affordable trainer for the masses. Its success was cast in stone with the threat of WW2 and the Civilian Pilot Training Programme, this resulted in the Cub being used to initially train over 80% of all American military pilots.

Top Gun Park Flite are extremely pleased to bring you a 1.4m highly detailed and equipped replica of this classic aircraft. The model is available in the legendary Cub Yellow and complemented by a Military version, the Olive Green L4 Grasshopper. Both models are carefully painted and decorated at the factory, interestingly all water slide decals are applied before the airframe is sprayed with a light coat of sealer to protect it from the elements.

The detailed dummy engine; cowl and canopy, as well as a fully functional scale main landing and tail wheel add to the overall quality and offer wonderful damping and ground handling characteristics. The broad flight envelope will impress all levels of pilot; there's plenty of power for loops, bunts, 4 point rolls and addictively graceful stall turns. This airframe will make you instantly look good and feel great!

The J3-Cub doesn't suffer from a lack of power and the large brushless outrunner requires juice from a 14.8v Li-Po 2200mAh sized battery making this an affordable model to kit out for a long days flying. You can expect flight times of around 10 minutes with aggressive hot-dogging, but it may be extended considerably with a more relaxed style.

A comprehensive assembly booklet has been developed for this aircraft and together with a full back up of spares should you ever damage it, make building and owning this aircraft a real pleasure.
