The Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet was a light weight attack or advanced trainer that was in production in the early 1970's. Famous Models have chosen the Asas de Portugal colour scheme. The Portuguese Air force display team chose this bright and flamboyant colour scheme to stand out in the crowd, and this replica certainly achieves this. The Famous Models Alpha jet flies with a real locked in feeling, it's confidence inspiring and a real joy to fly. This large airframe and high contrast colour scheme also mean that it's easy to keep full orientation on the model. In addition this makes it a real pleasure to watch as both pilot and spectator. Ground handling is impeccable allowing this aircraft to use both tarmac and grass runways, and due to the light wing loading it's a real pleasure to land.
